Online Meeting open to Amber Meadow residents due to Covid 19 Pandemic

Attendance:   Kyle Kuhlman, Matt Stevens, Patrick Thurmond, Karen Bartelli, Cliff Speegle

Home Owners Present:  None 

Motions and Approval of Minutes:   

  • Previous Meeting minutes were approved by vote of board
  • Board voted to waive Robert’s Rules of Conduct

Old Action Items

  • 4/14/2020: Replacement Fencing for Section B  – Contract signed, next task is to send out letter to affected homeowners
  • 4/14/2020:  Replanting at Monuments 129th and Quivira –   Did finish planting at 127th Quivira, We will continue with this task come fall for better survival of plantings
  • 4/14/2020:  Replacement of Pool LIghts – Completed, will be removed

Discussion items

POOL –  Will continue to utilize Sign up Genius for pool use at least through the month of June, will continue to monitor need.  Discussed some difficulties we were having with sign up Genius in regards to getting the pool code out to those individuals who are signing up for the day of.  

It appears the President’s email was not working correctly, however Patrick believes he has fixed the problem – will continue to monitor

July 4th Parade – how involved do we want to keep and still maintain social  distancing?

PRESIDENT:   No new information

VICE PRESIDENT:   No New information

TREASURER:   

  • As of May 12th – 6 outstanding fee assessements

ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE:  No New Information

SOCIAL EVENTS:   July 4th parade – 11:00 start at the top of Bond – Police escort planned with popsicles at the pool – decreased activities planned due to social distancing

SECRETARY:   No new information

GROUNDS:  

  • flowers placed in a few monuments – will continue to update more monuments this Fall
  • Replaced damaged sprinkler heads  
  • Identified a couple of dead trees that need removed, contacted Bretton Lawn Care for approval to remove – will plan for re-planting in appropriate areas this Fall
  • Discussion had about spraying Ash trees to prevent disease, board requesting bids to determine if this method is cost effective Vs replacement
  • Continue to monitor for damaged Ash trees – plan to send information to homeowners on how to place a ticket with the city for removal and replacement – approx 2 year wait list

POOL:

  • Concrete temporarily patched,  to do permanently completed this fall
  • Things still need to do done: painting baby pool, fixed cracks in fiberglass shell, replace some of the tiles around the pool
  • Security cameras up and running

WEBMASTER:   No new information

WELCOME WAGON:  No new information

New or Continued Action Items:  None

Action Items on Hold

  • 2/11/2020: Secure Quotes on concrete pool deck repair :  Due to difficulty obtaining bid with Covid 19 outbreak, this item will be address this Fall – The pool deck will be patched for the 2020 season – Placed on hold until fall
  • 3/10/2020: Contact Young Management about providing summary of 2020 assessment fees by lot:  On Hold due to Covid 19 – board focusing of how Covid 19 may effect 2020 fee assessment payment
  • 4/14/2020:  Reschedule Garage Sale dates  hold due to Covid
