After the May opening to retrieve the pool gate access code please email the PoolManager@MyAmberMeadows.com, expect a 24 hour response.  This code is for HOA residents only.  Do NOT share this code with others.  HOA members who have not paid dues will not be give the access code.  Prior to the May opening the code will be sent via email to all HOA members.  Make sure you are on the Mailing List to get the code.

RULES ENFORCEMENT: This is YOUR neighborhood pool and everyone is encouraged to follow the rules. You, as an Amber Meadows homeowner, have the right to enforce the pool rules. If there is a problem that can’t be resolved between neighbors, then you have the option of contacting the Overland Park police for non-Emergencies and Security or 913-895-6300. If you feel it is an HOA board issue then feel free to contact the AMHOA Board.

Pool Rules

HOURS: The pool is open from 9:00 am. until 10:00 pm. daily.  9pm-10pm is Adult time only.  Please make sure all kids are out of the pool at this time.  The pool is scheduled to open Memorial weekend and closed following Labor Day. The exact opening and closing dates will be announced each year.

GUEST POLICY – All guests must be accompanied by a homeowner when using the pool.  Only two (2) guests per homeowner are permitted at a time.

POOL PHONE IS FOR EMERGENCY USE ONLY.

NO CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE WITHOUT AN ADULT IN ATTENDANCE. Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by a parent or adult guardian (18 years or older). Parents or guardians are expected to supervise their children and be responsible for and liable for the actions of their children.  AMHOA homeowners who see unsupervised children are requested to contact the Overland Park Police at 913-895-6300 and report the issue.

NO RUNNING, GLASS CONTAINERS, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, CHEWING GUM, SMOKING, TOYS WITH WHEELS (i.e. BICYCLE), OR PETS OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING DOGS) allowed inside the fenced area of the pool.

NO DIVING. The pool is not designed to accommodate diving.

NO CLIMBING ON CABANA ROOF.

NO LARGE FLOTATION DEVICES ALLOWED – Small arm water wings or life preservers for small children are suggested.

SWIMSUITS ONLY – No other clothing can be worn for swimming. ALL INFANTS must wear appropriate swimsuits with swim diapers or plastic pants. Regular disposal diapers ARE NOT ALLOWED.

CLEAN UP after yourself as a courtesy to others. EVERYONE is asked to leave the pool area in an orderly condition and each of us is responsible for our own cleanup. Trash receptacles as well as recycling bins are provided for your use.

THE POOL GATE must be closed after entering or exiting the pool area.

NO INTOXICATED PERSONS allowed in the pool area.

MUSIC: The volume of musical devices must be kept low enough as to not disturb other pool users or the neighbors surrounding the pool.

NO ABUSIVE OR PROFANE LANGUAGE will be tolerated.

POOL FURNITURE must be treated with respect.

NO ELECTRIC DEVICES are allowed in the pool area (unless allowed by the AMHO Board of Directors).

SUNTAN OIL used by swimmers is not permitted. Suntan lotion and sun block are permitted.

SMOKING is not permitted at any time.

VANDALISM will not be tolerated. The police will be called if necessary.

VIOLATION of these rules my result in suspension of the homeowner’s swimming pool privileges and/or responsibility of compensation for damaged property.
