Dear Amber Meadows Residents,
You will be recieving the Amber Meadows Special Assessment Dues notice in the mail in the coming weeks. As a reminder, at the Amber Meadows HOA Annual Meeting in January, the subject of trash services was discussed at great length. Our 5-year contract with Waste Management ended on 12/31/24 and the new proposed 5-year contract rate was increased 22% for 2025, with an additional 6% annual increase each year after. The significance of the increase was more than expected. In response, the AMHOA sought out alternative bids & options, all of which came in higher than what Waste Management was proposing. Additional details around this process can be provided upon request and is summarized in a Power Point recap that can be found in the documents section of the AMHOA Website.
A unanimous vote took place to approve a $75 Special Dues Assessment for 2025 that will directly address and cover our unexpected increase in Trash Expense for the year and to ensure all other neighborhood expenses are accounted for.
